Things are worn as time passed by. That is so true. My Thinkpad X61 Tablet, which used to get 5:30 hours easily ,seems to hardly get pass 3-hour mark nowadays.

Only 136 cycles causes about 20% of capacity at the beginning (70Wh -- yeah, that's a bit more than designed value)

Today, after many years of intensive usage, X61 tablet battery is officially dead. Battery status is blinking orange always. Maybe it's time to hunt a new workhorse.

hurr it still has 35Wh which is about 40% or 1 hour at least!... why does X61T claim as dead one? The worst is you can't use the tablet as a mobile device anymore!!! [sign] I think it's pretty strange move by the manufacturer.

I had used my trusted x61 tablet w/o battery for couple weeks, it's deadly slow since all Thinkpad won't run at full speed w/o working-condition battery. Well, now it's back to life again! Yeah :-D

I bought this *compatible* battery on fleabay; well, it's a give or take. However, I noticed that all tablet's battery is more expensive than anything else. :-/ Fortunately, this is pretty decent deal although a build quality is not really close to *genuine* one, but it's good enough with half price tag. Well, I'll have to find a replacement for x61t within next 6 months anyway.
