    It's bad that VMWare is not supported internal WLAN NIC automatically, only wired NIC will be visible in VMware player (or anything) However, in case you have to use WLAN in VMware, the only way to do so is using WLAN USB dongle. Then VMWare will recognize the device immediately.

    Note: WLAN PCMCIA card or ExpressCard will not be recognized by VMware as well.
